Montaire is a brand-new name in Indian linen. We make one thing and make it well: pure linen shirts. No shortcuts, no filler fabrics — just breathable linen, honest construction and colours chosen to live in, from ivory and sage to olive and jet black.
Every shirt is cut in small batches at our atelier in Rayachoti, finished by hand and priced without the middlemen. Classic fit or relaxed fit — your call.
THE FOUNDER
Meet Nawaz.
Montaire began with a very young man and a very simple obsession: clothing, and everything good about fashion. Nawaz grew up around fabric, colour and cut — and instead of waiting for the perfect moment, he started his own brand.
He doesn't buy off a line sheet. By custom, Nawaz personally goes out and picks every collection Montaire sells — feeling the linen, checking the drape, choosing only what he would wear himself. If it doesn't pass his eye, it doesn't reach the shop.
That's why the range is small, considered and honest. Every shirt you see here is a shirt Nawaz chose.
